Bon Anniversaire! Classique is Really Rubbish Racing's 41st Special Event, forming part of the club's annual birthday celebrations (along with Bon Quatrième Anniversaire!).

For the final official event to be held on Gran Turismo 6 the ultimate challenge has been devised. As with all Bon Anniversaire! events the Classique will be a 2 hour Endurance Race around the Circuit de la Sarthe, using the legendary Group C cars of the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Drivers will race 1 of 7 equally-balanced Group C classics in the most testing of conditions, as they battle the night, the rain and each other. Outright pace will not be the only factor that decides the victor, as fuel depletion, tyre wear and mechanical damage will all have to be managed throughout the course of the race.

Event Highlights

pwoodg, PJ and ArcticCareBear hit top speed for the first time.
tonyandmargaret were the first to fall.
Drivers make their first stops as the sun sets.
Goteki House's first and last-ever races, both at Bon Anniversaire!
PJ's had a long Really Rubbish racing career, which ended tonight.
These cars were tricky to drive in the dark conditions...
..however when morning broke things weren't much brighter.
tonyandmargaret began to pick off places as the rain played havoc with everyone's pit strategies.
The rain caused many to slip up, but SuperNiceBob maintained his lead.
PJ has a massive spin while going down the Mulsanne, but somehow avoided taking damage.
GremlinWon was a podium contender for most of the race, but began to fall back towards the end.
A flash of lightning illuminates the sky.
CraigO took 3rd place.
tonyandmargaret recovered well to take 2nd.
The flag fell first for supernicebob as the club bade farewell to console racing.
