It's time for the second oval race of the season! 16 brave drivers get set to tackle the 1 mile loop.
The aerial shot shows Lee on pole again, with Kyran sharing the front row... again.
And it's happened immediately! Lee lights up the rears and is thrown into the path of his teammate! The Offenders pitwall is thrown into disarray, they can't believe what they're seeing!
Several drivers are involved in the carnage, the safety car is deployed after about 3 seconds of racing. We're good at this, honest.
Eep, that's heavy damage for Lee. Will has lost a wheel and has to retire before even completing one lap, yet another horrid race for Team Penguin.
Arunas is also involved, facing the wrong way and possibly missing his nose. James also sustains damage and heads to the pits.
Once that's all cleared up, it's back to green flag racing! Kyran seemingly sleeping at the wheel gets mugged by Allie, with Mike and Neil all over him!
A huge impact for James Lambert, that's a write-off. Tropico having a tough time very early on. Safety car deployed again.
Now back into the lead somehow, a very alert and focused Kyran manages to hit the right pedal and holds the lead off the restart.
Kyran pits from a sizable lead, unusually slowly... he's stopped! Is he out of fuel? Unbelievable! The billboard in the distance makes for great banter, although I'll bet Kyran doesn't find it amusing right now.
Bang! The sole Kaibutsu goes pop in a big way, Campbell denied a strong finish once again.
This guy is cursed. James fought his way up to the front after the worst start imaginable, it's all come to nothing again as he's in the wall. What does he have to do?
Chequered flag is out! Björn Golda takes his first win of the season! He didn't expect that, I didn't expect that, nobody expected that! Racing!
