Named for a heavy metal band from Boston, MA, Doomriders Racing was a short-lived team that competed in a total of 8 races over a single season and pair of special events.
Founded by Violence Tom in the run up to the 4za Motorsport Championship, he and friend InvalidNameUK piloted a pair of Nissan Micras in their first and so far only season of Really Rubbish Racing competition. With both of its drivers having disappeared without notice from the club in early 2012, the fate of the team is in limbo. It is unknown if they will return. It is hoped that they haven't gone missing in Iceland.

Doomriders Racing appeared on the scene in the run up to Really Rubbish Racing season 3 - the 4za Motorsport Championship - when the release of Forza Motorsport 4 saw an influx of new drivers join the ranks. Along with 2 other teams, they chose the Nissan Micra as their car for the 12 races, painted black with purple and pink highlights. However, Violence Tom only appeared at the first event in the Mediterranean, with InvalidNameUK fielding the only Doomriders car in Northern European rounds. The team disappeared from the championship after that, having scored a best result of 3 12th places and a total of zero points. The only Micra to last the entire season was that of RumblyLizard, ultimately winning the championship.
Dan Wheldon Invitational

The Doomriders pairing did appear in one race before their inaugural season, and that race was the Dan Wheldon Invitation Special Event in memory of recently deceased Indy 500 winner and IndyCar champion Dan Wheldon.
Initial pace was good, with InvalidNameUK qualifying 6th out of the participating 13 drivers, less than a tenth of a second off the pole time set by fellow newcomer Ripster. The same beginner's luck did not fall on Violence Tom. Unable to post a qualifying time due to a connection issue, he was to line up 13th and last. The unlucky-numbered grid-spot did him no further favours, and the same connection issue left him unable to start the race. After a turbulent race, Invalid went on to finish 9th, half a minute behind victor Ajokay.
Zer0 Emissions Endurance Event

Violence Tom was due to race for Doomriders in the Hybrid class at the Zero Emissions Endurance Event, but never made it to the venue due to his Chevrolet Volt's batteries dying en-route to the Hockenheimring.
HGTM Nordschleife 90

Having signed up for the Hyper Global Tourenwagen Masters championship proper, Doomriders had failed to show up for any of the races until the mid-season special event, the 90 minute endurance race at the Nurburgring's Nordschleife circuit. The team brought a pair of Mercedes-Benz AMG C-Class DTM machines to the event. Practise times were some 20 seconds off the pace of the leading cars, not unusual around this long and difficult circuit in powerful rear-wheel-drive cars.
Once again Violence Tom failed to connect. In contrast, Invalid began the race in second position and held onto the silver spot for at least some of the first lap before slipping down the order due to a series of off-track excursions. He finished the race in 15th of the 16 runners, 1 lap down. It would be the final time that either Doomrider driver and their purple and pink racecars were seen at a Really Rubbish Racing event, or, indeed on Xbox Live at all.
