Season 1: F1FFM3C
FlavouryRug competed in season 1 of the F1Fanatic Forza Motorsport 3 Championship as a reserve driver. He raced in 16 of the 24 races of the season scoring 1 win, 10 podiums, 43 points and 6th overall in the championship.
FlavouryRug's debut race at Silverstone racing Jaguar E-Types proved to be his only victory of the season. All points scoring finishes were podiums bar one race.
Season 2: RRRTCC
FlavouryRug won the RRRTCC driver's title with a total of 5 wins, 126 points, 7 fastest laps and 15 podiums out of 16 races. After a dissapointing first race in which the lead was lost through an unforced error (driving into the pitwall), FlavouryRug managed to attain podium finishes for the remainder of the season's races.
Along with teammate Tomcheesey, CheeseyRug racing secured the constructor's title driving touring car spec '07 Honda Civic Type Rs. CheeseyRug secured 12 fastest laps out of the season's 16 races and 2 1-2 finishes.
The season was filled with close battles with the defending champion from season one, RumblyLizard. Often contrasting setup approaches were adopted by these two drivers with cars with different handling characteristics.
F1 Season 1
FlavouryRug is raced in RRR's first F1 series based on F1 2011. Partnering STR TommyB, he used the Toro Rosso car.
The season did not go smoothly with FlavouryRug being off the pace in the first few races due to lack of practice. He has gained form in recent races and has scored one podium.
Similarly to the 4zaMC season, cronic lag problems caused many problems throughout the season. This led to several disconnects and accidents in other races. This led to FlavouryRug abondoning the final race at Brazil to allow for a clean final race.
With 3 disconnects, 3 missed races and problems in racing caused by poor internet speeds, FlavouryRug finished 9th overall. The highlight of his season was a podium in tricky conditions at Canada and taking pole at Silverstone by 0.685 seconds before losing connection in the race
Season 3: 4zaMC
FlavouryRug entered season 4, the 4za Motorsport Championship, as the reigning number 1. He raced for the rebranded BDGP team, 1FR Motorsport utilising a upgraded Citroen C1.
FlavouryRug struggled much more this season. A general lack of time in testing and practicing led to a poor season. Although quite competetive in qualifying, FlavouryRug lacked the pace to be able to challenge RumblyLizard who could now use manual clutch in races. With the new 16 car grids, FlavouryRug's internet was strained and was renowned for lagging throughout the season. This also blunted his ability to closely race others. One race weekend was missed due to other comitments.
FlavouryRug finished the season a dissapointing 8th with two fastest laps.
Season 4: HGTM
The season was dominated by Sodamn Insane 6 using the Mercedes C Class DTM car but FlavouryRug finished a solid 2nd with 3 victories, 1 pole position and 3 fastest laps. FlavouryRug missed two of the events (four races) during the season due to real life commitments.
CheeseyRug Racing secured the team's championship, their second, and remain unbeaten team's champions.
F1 Season 2: Asia
With the internet problems that plagued FlavouryRug in the first season of F1 solved, a late confirmation of participation in this series led to a team change. FlavouryRug joined Spearkofi at his Cross Channel GP team. Spearkofi only attended four races making FlavouryRug the sole runner for the team.
Almost immediately FlavouryRug encountered problems with his steering wheel controller. When pressed fully down, the peddles were not 'flat out' in game. FlavouryRug was swamped on the straights because of this. This was remedied somewhat by using very high throttle saturation settings during the second half of the season. This helped and pace was much closer to the front runners but effectively made the throttle pedal and on/off switch. The pedal was finally fixed properly in time for the last three rounds. Internet issues prevented FlavouryRug from entering two of these events however but at the final round at Suzuka FlavouryRug took his maiden F1 victory.
The various problems and in game bugs led to another disappointing season in F1 but with a victory at the final round, things are looking positive for the next season. FlavouryRug finished 6th in the series with 1 victory, 2 podiums and 2 fastest laps.
Season 5: MEMES
FlavouryRug will be competing in the upcoming Mid-Engined Mid-Eighties Series driving for his 1FR Motorsport team. Finishing 2nd in the previous series meant that FlavouryRug had only the choice of two cars: the Lotus Espirit and the Lamborghini Muira and chose the latter.
The season proved challenging with the demand of having to master 3 tracks and two new cars per week. With lack of practice throughout the season, FlavouryRug was often off the pace. This, very few clean laps and missing 4 rounds meant FlavouryRug finished a disappointing 9th in the standings: his lowest placing in a Forza championship.
Despite the lacklustre performance, FlavouryRug did score 2 victories during the MEMEs season. His best drive however was from last to fourth in a Renault 5 at round 13.
F1 Season 3: Summer Series
After two poor seasons in F1, FlavouryRug headed into RRR's third F1 season with a new teammate. FlavouryRug moved back to 1FR with y2jisaok. The two drivers had a close rivalry and history of incidents from the previous season but thought they could create a good challenge for the Team's Championship.
FlavouryRug finished the previous season with promising form winning his first race after finally completely fixing the throttle issues with his wheel. With no excuses left, FlavouryRug's only target was to win the Driver's Championship.
He managed to do this totaling 4 victories, 12 podiums, 7 fastest laps and 298 points. Teammate y2jisaok dropped out early on due to ongoing connection issues and Kimstermagnum replaced him as Flavoury's teammate. Together they also secured the constructor's championship.
Season 6: OSCAR
FlavouryRug headed into RRR's sixth season of Forza based racing at his 1FR team. As his choice of race, Flavoury chose the Holden Commodore VE Aussie V8 around Road America. Most racers did not enjoy the powerful nature of these cars with the exception of Dan Thorn. At the event, Flavoury took an early lead only ever being challenged by Dan Thorn on the way to his only victory of the season.
FlavouryRug missed one event and finished 6th overall with 287 points.
Season 7: GTSSS
Before the season began, FlavouryRug announced a new partnership with fellow racer JayCoops forming the team Jayvoury Racing. However, new work commitments prevented FlavouryRug from entering the championship and JayCoops joined the The Indypendables. This led to Jayvoury Racing being tagged 'the fastest team never to have raced'.
Flavoury did manage to attend the final event of the season and entered alongside JayCoops to race in what to date has been Jayvoury Racing's sole RRR appearance. The team entered in Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3s with a one off Jayvoury livery designed by JayCoops. Flavoury finished 4th in both races with a fastest lap on the sprint. He also raced in the event's Trefeo Mito support race and finished 3rd.
Flavoury's new work pattern means that this is likely to be his last appearance in a series event for the foreseeable future.
Season PC1: Formula R Festival
Flavoury secured pole position and fought back after a poor start to finish second with the fastest lap on his return at Brand's Hatch. In the second race, he scored his only win of the season.
There was a three-way tie at the top of the drivers' championship heading into the final round between Flavoury, JayCoops and Smifaye. Flavoury lost out to his teammate in these races finishing the season second. Jayvoury Racing secured the teams' championship by 43 points over rivals Black Cats.
Flavoury secured 1 win, 6 podiums, 1 pole position, 1 fastest lap and 49 points in the Formula R Festival.
