Tomcheesey, was born June 20th 1991 in Kent. He is a sim driver for Feta Motorsport and is one of the original 8 members of Really Rubbish Racing. He is currently competing in his third official season in the 4zaMC Championship, driving a Volkswagen Fox. Alongside with FlavouryRug, he plans to run the fourth official season of DTM in the new year.
Tomcheesey's love of cars and Motorsport stemmed from a young age and the help of hundreds of matchbox cars. Much like his rivals Ajokay and Bookoi, he often created ridiculously long traffic jams leading through multiple rooms much to the dismay of his parents. Further to this, he would often find himself frustrated trying to race with these cars, as moving more than two cars at once was much too troublesome. Luckily a few years afterwards he discovered V-Rally and Crash Team Racing on the PlayStation and found this to be much more enjoyable. This created a long history of racing games through multiple games consoles, favourites being the Gran Turismo, TOCA, and Forza series.
Alongside his love of racing games, Tomcheesey loves to watch any Motorsport live. His favourites are the British Touring Car Championship and Formula One, although they are definitely not limited to these. Living close to Brands Hatch is also a bonus, especially as it is his favourite circuit (although it has neglected to appear in recent Motorsport games).
As one of the Original 8 and founding members of RRR, Tomcheesey participated in the first 4 rounds of the F1FFM3C. After a disappointing first race scoring outside the points, he went on to achieve three podiums in the following 3 rounds, in 2nd, 3rd and 2nd respectively. Had it not been for the irritatingly quick Porsche 550 run by Sodamn Insane 6 he feels he could have achieved his first win of the season in round 4. The third round of the championship may also be remembered by many due to the close finish between Tomcheesey and RumblyLizard, shown here. Overall, he commented that he was happy with his start to the season in a solid 3rd position in the overall points, just 1 point behind Ajokay, one of the season favourites.
Unfortunately Tomcheesey was unable to participate in the second meet for the F1FFM3 Championship due to the race coinciding with a 'The Killers and The Kaiser Chiefs' concert, of which was important to attend to gain vital future sponsors for his team Feta Motorsport. However, missing the races meant that Tomcheesey dropped back down the points to joint 5th position with the reserve driver FlavouryRug who took his place in the races. Missing those four races has seriously hurt his chances of a podium in the final standings of the Championship, but with 16 more rounds to go, he feels he is still in with a chance.
The third 4 rounds resulted in three wins and one 4th for Tomcheesey, improving his position in the championship points to second place. He started well in the first Lancia Stratos race, managing to hold the win under Smifaye's pressure. For the second race he started from last on the grid and had a poor start, but luckily managed to steal 4th from a mistake by Ajokay on the last lap. The upgraded races saw Tomcheesey take two wins in his Chrysler Crossfire. He commented after the races that he owed a great deal of his success to the car, as it was stable to drive and very quick on the long straights.
The fourth weeks racing brought more success to the Feta Motorsport team with Tomcheesey taking two wins and a second place finish. Importantly the wins came in the feature races meaning a healthy score of points. In the Stock Feature Race, contact between FlavouryRug and RumblyLizard saw Tomcheesey navigate through to take the win. His other win came from the Upgraded Feature Race, of which he had a near perfect drive with few driving errors. With Sodamn Insane 6's absence, Tomcheesey now has the top spot in the championship standings with a total of 58 points. He has made no comment on the countless deaths he caused in the pitlane at the end of the Sprint Stock Race, but he is believed to be standing down from the following four events in the championship out of respect to the families affected by this tragedy.
Following two weeks of successful point scoring, the fifth weeks session only brought 4 extra points for the Feta Motorsport team through Tomcheesey, with his worst results of the season. Tomcheesey has commented that with little time to practice close wheel to wheel action with other drivers with ABS turned off, he made numerous driver errors from locking brakes. Round 18 also saw Tomcheesey shift into a Parallel Suzuka Circuit universe, from where he could still hear other drivers in the party, but was warped to an empty track. The shift not only caused a DNF for Tomcheesey, but meant he was very lonely for the entire race.
With just 4 races left and barely any points between the top drivers in the championship table, Feta Motorsport chose a very inconvenient time to hold a sponsor party holiday in Devon. The result was he had to miss rounds 21 to 24, meaning he finished a disappointing 4th in the final Championship standings considering his excellent mid-season performance.
The second official RRR season had a much more team-based approach to the racing. Tomcheesey and FlavouryRug decided to combine forces to create the feared CheeseyRug Racing Team. The season was a complete success for the team, as the drivers brought home 9 wins, 21 podiums and 12 fastest laps in just 16 races. In doing so they took the constructors championship with a total of 191 points. Tomcheesey finished 5th in the drivers championship, and feels disappointed in this result. Due to a number of issues throughout the season concerning his internet connection, he was unable to compete in critical races across the season and lost a large amount of points to his competitors. Had this not have happened he feels he could have been challenging for the Drivers Championship Title, and at least a podium step. However, he feels content that he came back strong in the final two races, picking up two wins for the team and secured 5th from Shouty.
